A good friend suggested this app so that I can turn off photo streaming. I want to be able to delete unwanted photos. This app allows me to sync photos to my Mac in a seperate folder on my desktop. Then I can delete etc. before I move to iphoto! I transferred 136 photos wirelessly in under 3 min. Very simple to use and you can use "preferences" to make your own folders! One issue is that even though the app for your Mac is free you have to pay $1.99 for the app for your iphone/ipod/ipad BUT IT IS WORTH IT!!

Am I missing something here? I have this app on my iphone and iPad and it works great for sending photos to Dropbox or Smugmug. I dont see that same feature available in this Mac version on my Mac Book Pro. Only able to transfer photos to and from iPhoto and Aperture and I dont use either of these very often. Including functionality to flickr, facebook, etc like the mobile app version would be very handy to have. Hopefully in a future update perhaps. ;)

i got the app, and while i was downloading it, i went on itunes to get the ios app, and its not free. make it free.

Its hostage-ware. Free to download on your mac but you have to pay for it on your phone. Very misleading.

Humm…. I wonder…… If $1.99 for an app is too much for you…… What are you doing with an iPhone and a Mac? Mabe you should be spending more time looking for a job and less time complaining about everything in the world not being FREE! Guess this is just the Gimmie Generation…. Anyway…. The App Works Great! Well worth the $1.99 to use with the iPhone and iPad!

Have loaded app on iphone and app on computer both the $2.99 and the Free one to computer. I have attempted to transfer photos from iphone to Mac. An error message comes up during transfer " an error occurred during transfer please check wifi connection" Checked all and read the FAQs. This app does not work for me.

This app crashes as soon as i open it every time. Have reinstalled it several times and it still doesnt work. Dont waste your money like I did.

I used to use dropbox to get images to the phone but that app compresses the image quality. This gets the high quality images to the phone without having to email it to myself. Works well and fast, thanks.

If it could only pull photos from iPhoto IOS instead of just from the camera roll. This would allow you to move photos edited in IPhoto IOS to your mac in bulk…something that is not currently possible to my knowledge.

I use it to transfer photos to and from my MacBook Pro, iMac, iPad 3, and iPhone 4 over the wireless network in our house without any problems. Using it for several months now. I find that the convenience it provides is worth the cost. The photos dont have to be in iPhoto or Aperture to send them over to my iPad or iPhone, and instead can just be on the Macs desktop. Very flexible app. I have never had a problem with it, and yet I use it often.

This app is great in concept, but once or twice I noticed that it corrupted a photo during transfer. It said the file copied fine, but when I looked at the photo half of it was black. Luckily I noticed this before I deleted my originals, but that was the end of this app for me. Sorry man!

I bought this app to transfer pics from my iPod with Cam to my Gen1 iPad (without). It has come in very handy! Now that I have a Mac I transfer new pics quickly and easily, no connection needed. I highly recommend this app. I havent experienced any crashes… Its always worked well for me. And I love that now, when I travel, I can send pics directly to my friends IP addresses. Lookimg forward to trying that out.

This has got to be the best money I have spent for my business to transfer pictures from my Mac to iPad. It does it quickly, easily and even downsizes during the process. It makes my life EASIER and quicker to get my reports out. I would recommend this product to EVERYONE!!!!

This utility is a perfect companion to go along with carrying around and transfering your photos. Dream come through, works flawlessley, integrates with all major services. Mac utility (which this review should really be for), works great! Thank You for this and keeping development going!

It fills a gap in iPhotots all or nothing sync, but it freezes and loses connection all the time

Movies and videos should be copied to the Videos.app and not into the Photos.app

i only used this once a few months ago and it worked ok. When i went to use it again it wanted to update though when I did it errored over and over and day after day . So, i checked "skip this version" . Has anyone else had this issue ? Otherwiswe , its ok.

After using PhotoSync on three different phones I find the 2.0 version to be pathetic. It just stopped working with no help or response from devs. Very, very disappointing after working so well. I do NOT recommend this app despite the high rating which reflects the former versions NOT this one.
